SMARTstart Pasco Business Incubator Celebrates new Location with Open House Event
January 5, 2017
New location provides greater opportunity to support entrepreneurs in Pasco County
Dade City, Fla. (January 5, 2017)—The Pasco Economic Development Council’s SMARTstart Pasco Business Incubator has completed its move to a new, centralized location in Downtown Dade City and will host an open house event on Friday, January 13 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. with a ribbon cutting at noon.
“Our Open House event is not just about showing off our new space, but also recognizing our community partners—such as Pasco County and the City of Dade City—who have made it possible to expand our entrepreneurship programs this year,” said Bill Cronin, President/CEO of Pasco EDC.
For members of the SMARTstart Pasco Business Incubator, the new office space provides a more convenient location in the heart of downtown Dade City near the busy intersection of Meridian Ave. and 7th Street. The greater number of offices available at the new location will allow Pasco EDC to support more on-site members as well as offer expanded co-working opportunities with hot desk and dedicated desk options.
“We have so many talented entrepreneurs in Pasco County that are creating jobs for their fellow residents every day,” said Krista Covey, Director of the SMARTstart Pasco Business Incubator. “This new incubator space and the expanded programming we have incorporated into the SMARTstart program over the last year will help us to better support our small business community going forward.”
Members of the SMARTstart Pasco Business Incubator work in a collaborative environment with other small business owners, gain access to technical support and one-on-one mentoring, network with other business leaders and community partners, and attend classes and seminars held at the Incubator. On-site members also receive 24/7 access to the incubator facilities with dedicated office space, free WiFi, free parking, available co-working space, a post office box, and access to conference and meeting rooms.
