Career Focus, Inc. Joins the SMARTstart Pasco Business Incubator

Dade City, Fla. (March 22, 2016) — Cassandra Garvey, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Career Focus, Inc., has recently joined the SMARTstart Pasco Business Incubator program as an onsite member.

Career Focus specializes in assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities find and keep quality employment by providing productive and meaningful vocational assistance.  The company provides services and support to the disabled population to enable them to live and work in community settings of their choosing and experience lives characterized by happiness, dignity, health, and the highest degree of social responsibility and productivity of which they are capable.

“Being a nurturer and helping others is second nature to me, and I’ve always wanted to do something to give back to the community,” said Garvey.  “The programs and support I will receive through SMARTstart will help me become a better entrepreneur, so I can better help those with mental and physical disabilities and take Career Focus, Inc. to the next level.”

The SMARTstart Pasco Business Incubator Program currently provides business assistance and training to 11 on- and off-site member entrepreneurs across Pasco County.  Members are given the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with other small businesses, gain access to technical support and one-on-one mentoring, network with other business leaders and community partners, and attend classes and seminars held at the SMARTstart New Port Richey and Dade City Incubators.  On-site members , like Career Focus, also receive 24/7 access to the incubator facilities with dedicated office space, free WiFi, free parking, available co-working space, a post office box, and access to conference and meeting rooms.
